Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is available for all our Primis firms – here's what you need to know:

2FA delivers an an extra layer of protection for our business users and firms, significantly decreasing the risk of unauthorised access and system breaches.

Of course, data is so much more than just some lines on a spreadsheet. It’s your firm’s livelihood. So we understand that it needs to be protected 24/7.

2FA is designed to make sure that people trying to gain access to an online account are who they say they are. 

First, a user will enter their username and a password. Then, instead of immediately gaining access, they will be required to provide another piece of information. Here, the site interacts directly with a user’s phone, sending a unique one-time passcode (OTP) via text message.

You will be able to add/edit your phone number in your user settings once you login. Make sure that you keep your number up-to-date so that you don’t lose access.
